You Are What You Think book 1
Preface
“For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of
love, and of a sound mind.” This statement was made by Paul in a letter
to Timothy.
Many centuries ago Cicero said this: “Confidence is that feeling by
which the mind embarks in great and honorable discourse with a sure hope
and trust in itself.”
I first began writing articles for newspapers in March of 1975. Since
then, I have received hundreds of letters from people all over the
United States testifying that what I have constantly repeated is true:
We DO have the power to control the circumstances of our lives by
gaining control over our thoughts.
Unhappiness, depression, lack of confidence, and even ill health, can
be overcome by a change in our thinking. “That which you focus your
attention upon will become your experience.”
Therefore, why not focus your attention upon that which you wish to experience instead of the opposite ?
Therefore, why not focus your attention upon that which you wish to experience instead of the opposite ?
The changes which have taken place in the lives of hundreds of
convicts which I have witnessed first hand, as well as changes in my own
live, have given me the deep inner conviction that these teachings are
infallible, and work for everyone.
Practicing these ancient principles will free you from all that is
negative. Ralph Waldo Emerson, the renowned American philosopher, said:
“The revelation of thought takes people out of servitude into freedom.”
